So, it’s finally here. Y2K. A year for new beginnings, and yet it doesn’t feel so new. I’m still dealing with the same problems of the 90’s, still trying to find my own little place in the world. With everyone telling me what to do, how to dress, how to act and what to say, I seem to get caught up in what everyone else wants me to be. I forget that I am my own person and have just been buried under a load of others’ expectations. Sometimes it gets so hard to get things into perspective, and the entire world blurs for a few moments. It is in times like these that it is nice to know I am not the only one. Other people, maybe you, understand completely. Here’s the evidence:

So there you have it, proof you are not the only person in the world willing to go against the flow, to stand up and say no when everyone else says yes. For what it is worth, ten years from now what people thought of you in high school will only matter to them.
