Sierra Club Coming to Forbush in April

For All Nature Lovers...

Do you, like many teens, enjoy the outdoors and all of the adventures it offers? If you love hiking; camping ; water sports, such as kayaking; or if you would just like to try them, then the Foothills Sierra Club is coming to Forbush just for you.

On Tuesday, March 21st, Elyse Jung, a Sierra Club representative, will be in the first cafeteria at seven o' clock to fill you in on what the Sierra club does and to share with you the latest in camping and hiking equipment supplied by Evergreen Outfitters of Winston-Salem.

On Tuesday, April 25th, Fred Best of the Foothills Sierra Club will return to the first cafeteria (at the same time) with Evergreen Outfitters and The Triad River Runners to present a canoe and kayak demonstration. More tips on safety and all the how-to's of the outdoors will also be included.

Admission is free. If you would like more information on local hikes and upcoming events, then be sure to make it to one of the meetings.
